While vacationing in Australia, Steve was inspired by an amazing assortment of wood turned items that left him yearning for an opportunity to try the skill himself. Three years later while attending his first wood turning class he proudly showed off his very first effort- a candlestick holder and hasn’t looked back since. He has had an amazing
response to his work and continues to perfect his style and technique. Working with an assortment of mostly native Canadian wood and using finishing techniques to enrich and capture the wood’s natural grain ensures that no two pieces are alike. All pieces are signed by the artist.
