“I have two approaches to working with hot glass: blowing and sand casting. When I blow glass I like to show off the wonderful range of colors available to the modern glassblower.
My sand cast pieces are cast into a steel ring placed over a textured sand surface. This allows me to use a variety of small mark making tools and bring the pattern and texture right to the edge of the composition.”
