Janice comes from rural Manitoba and has been a full time potter for over twenty-five years. Her work is primarily wheel thrown porcelain with an emphasis on finely proportioned forms.
Her black stoneware with delicate carving and agate ware are fired unglazed in an electric kiln. She is increasingly drawn to the natural and unpredictable results from smoke firing and raku.
