Atelier Bernard ChaudronBernard has been working with metal for over 40 years. After gaining a solid reputation as a gold and silversmith, it was during the 70’s that Bernard tempted by the warmth and beauty of pewter, oriented his work towards the production of hollowware, thus reviving, in Quebec, this very ancient art. Bernard, now joined by his son Antoine employ traditional fabrication methods.
Their products incorporate the techniques of hammering, engraving, embossing and casting.
Our pewterware is made from an alloy containing at least 92% tin, the North American standard, with added antimony and copper. This leadfree alloy is non toxic, leaves no taste deformations and will not tarnish.
