Andrea BraunsteinMy love of clay began in the 1970’s at the
artist’s co-op Euphoria. I shared space and honed my craft with top Manitoba potters of that time.
My current hand built pieces are one of a kind studies of everyday events. I am inspired by these moments frozen in time that we can all relate to. My work is light hearted and intends to convey the whimsy of the characters participating in life’s most enjoyable, yet often overlooked events.
My pieces are hand built low fired clay, bisque fired and then hand painted with acrylic paints.
